Modesty

Wow. 2 posts. I read joe's blog [nottojoe.blogspot.com] which was pretty interesting. However, I find it not only the woman's responsibility to be modest, but also the mans. If we were to eliminate all the lustful clothing, women would be in burkas... I know that if you're at the beach, you're going to be surrounded by dozens of scantily clad women, however you don't have to focus on it. You can turn the head. What I'm trying to type, in a sleep deprived state is that modesty is all about persepective. It is truly relative. As Joe said, rather than a brazen approach, subtle things attract him more. So I don't think this conservative clothing thing is the answer to all the problems (although it would solve a lot of them!)

I guess what I'm trying to say is that things that cause lust change; different things effect different people, and we need to train ourselves to ignore, block, or do something to rid ourselves of temptation. We can't control everything, and even if those we hang out with are dressed and act conservatively, it doesn't necessarily mean all those others in the world will either. Change starts from God, who changes us within. Mind over matter.. You know. So next time there's some bay-watch lookin' lady with barely enough fabric to stich a glove out of, just turn the head.

IDK, maybe this is stupid, and wrong. It's just how I feel. I'm trying this new thing. Instead of pointing the finger, change yourself to get rid of whatever is making you crazy.

LOLOLOL bad post -_--
