I agree with Joe that life isn't fair. Rather, everything is not fair at all. You talked about chemistry, and there's bunch of natural phenomena that is so against the probability. If everything was fair, there's no way even a universe could be materialized.
Even though I resent you to turn into a band geek, I wish you have good time at band camp. I went through, too, when I was in high school. Of course, I put FH before band camp. lol
I do not know what has happened[and I do not have anything thought-provoking to say like JoeLuke], however, I must let you know that I am hurting with you, even if it amounts to just an inkling of what you are feeling. I have been praying for you and you are always in my thoughts. I love you so much and I cannot imagine how precious you must be to Christ.

If it was fair we wouldn't even have breath in our lungs.
It's amazing how God shows us grace even when we deserve only punishment for our sin
there is no good people, and we should all die young. That's the only fair conclusion in front of a perfect and holy God.
