So today was bleh,
I'm becomming increasingly aware of my sinful tendencies, like I used to talk about people behind their backs but IDK gossip es no bueno. I see how knowledge of the bible really does prevent you from sinning, or atleast makes you aware. Like today, Someone wanted me to tell a secret, but I just read proverbs 25:9-10 and kept myself in check yay! And there is this one girl, who dosen't like me, due to what I thought was water under the bridge... In my defence, it wasn't her place to lay claim on that science fest. subject when other people claimed it! but she keeps doing hateful things to me, so I keep hating her, and whenever I see her I just want to scream at her, and shake her, and publically humiliate her, and punch her in the face, but I remembered that hating your fellow man is like murdering him (her in this case) so I always try to harm my heart, but sometimes the fire of hatred is enough to melt the coolness of biblical knowledge >___> IDK tomorrows a long day, Tennis, and spanish highschool inductions =__=~

hehe andy i really miss you, i can't wait to talk to you again...
yeah man you're completely right! the bible (the law) is INTENDED to make you increasingly aware of your sins. Just remember tho, the bible does NOT, i repeat the knowledge of the bible DOES NOT prevent you from sinning. It actually does the opposite. As it makes you more aware of your sin, it makes you sin more. I just read this this morning in romans 7:7-25
it talks about how the law makes you know your sin, and also it "produced in me all kinds of covetousness (v8)". pretty depressing huh?
thats why v25 is so amazing! it says in v24,
Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
then in 25 it says
Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
oh snap... its only through JESUS CHRIST that we can prevent ourselves from sinning...
