HAPPY BIRTHDAY....Jesus (:

Jesus has 2 birthdays ): I wish I had 2. (8

Happy Easter...

Haha, my pastor made a funny joke... Well, I thought it was funny...

The christian symbol, or rather the symbol that is most commonly associated with the christian faith is the Cross, which we know was the mans of Jesus' "death". Now imagine if some other company, say Dominon energy, replaced their symbol with the electric chair... Now that symbol coupled with the slogan, "we've always got power" gets us into a little bit of trouble....

HAHA, he went on to explain why the Cross is what we see it. & it's long, and somewhat preverbial, so I'll leave you to it.

Spring break is ovar ):

Lead me to the cross, where your love poured out...
Bring me to my knees, Lord I lay me down...

Powerful (8

Sweetly broken (8

Lots of songs I like...

This post is super long...
So on a previous post, I was talking about how I see everything in the Christian faith as old and outdated, 'cause I've grown up with it. and etc etc... Well, there was this song, that we sang at easter that really spoke to me It went like this :D

UGH I'm lazy, it's in my mom's purse, I wrote the lyrics down, now I have to goodle it .____. haha, spring break's made me fat, both physically and mentally...

"May passing time and years not steal
The power with which it impacts me
the freshness of, it's mystery.

May I never lose the wonder
The wonder of the Cross
May I see it like the first time
Standing as a sinner lost
Undone by mercy, and left speechless
watching wide eyed at the cost..
May I never lose the wonder
the wonder of the cross...

This is especially true for me. I always complain about how the bible is borring, and I think I know it all, like Job, but my mind is so small, and boxed... I need to expand, to be humbled...(8

we sang sweetly broken today too. I love that song :D

I'd like to also perhaps suggest that we DO have 2 birthdays since we have been born again (John 3). We talked about dying with Christ and being raisd with Him today. Romans 6:1-8. It was a great reminder.
