Sassypants!

I've found a reocurring flaw with humans, even the most righteous and chosen of those. The flaw is that we think we can fight agsint God's will, or know more than He. We are, SASSYPANTS! Trying to fight God is like Romeo trying to fight Fate, and if you don't know how that ends, he dies, via poison. "Oh true apothycary, thy drugs are quick. And thus with a kiss, I die" Haha, I memorized that, whatta flower (Him not me).

Anyways, let's start at the beginning, seriously, it started with Adam, he thinks he can hide from God.

Then we go to Moses. Moses is so close minded. In numbers 11: 21-22 he says, "...here I am among six hundred thousand meon on foot, and you say, 'I ill give them meat to eat for a whole month!' 22 Would they have enough if flocks and herds were slaughtered for them? Would they have enough if all the fish in the sea were caught for them?"

God replies in verse 23 with, "Is the Lord's arm too short? You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you."

aww snap, pwn'd. Seriously, do we think we can outdo the God who can tell us the exact number of stars, who created them each individually, placing them where they belong? The same God to which nature proclaims His majesty?

The list goes on, the israelites then go on to the promised land even though God is not with them; outcome = death.

Jonah flees, & gets eaten.

Job thinks he is better than what he is getting and grumbles, invoking God to seriously own. God says, look, did you create the world? No, then who are you to tell ME what to do, what you are, who are YOU...

Our superiority complex is just so huge, we think we're the best and really, we aren't... We all have these moments, the bratty know it all, I'm better than you, blah blah blah... >__> I know I do... Humility, I struggle with that so much.

Oh, I have a question for you guys... When you guys sing praise, and sing one verse over and over and over and OVER again, don't you think it's kinda.... Loses it's meaning. I mean, it's like beating it into God's face like He couldn't hear us in the first time. There's a verse in the bible that says don't bable in prayer like the pharasies, but dosen't that apply to worship and stuff? IDK, it bothers me, and I get so bored of the monotonous words...

New week.

SPRING BREYAK <33 T-minus 4 days

Guys stay strong this week. It's almost Jesus' week of suffering... Prepare yourselves, I think this Easter will be one for the recordbooks, IDK why...

Love this art work by Monet. Japanese bridge over water.

I think repeating verses has nothing to do with babbling along with prayer. It's not that we're just babbling on repeating things to God, but it allows us to truly meditate on the words of the song so that we can truly praise Him. Remember, praise is not done mainly with our words, but with our hearts.

Now, the issue of contemporary praise songs getting shallower and shallower is another issue altogether.

just listen to hymns and HHH :D

you are a strange boy...

Why am I strange.
& Meditation is fine, but when they're repeated 24 times (yes I counted), I think it's excess. some say less is more, and while we can truly reflect on the meanings more when we hear them more, there has to be a limit.

+ I listen to lots of hyms, I like contemporary hyms? IDK, same melody and what not, just more modernized instruments (I originally typed weapons...) O__ol\..
